Having seen this event live on television in 1992, and scores of times since in various videos, I still get chills down my spine! A very famous quote comes to mind, “It’s not how many times you fall down that matters, it’s how many times you get back up!”

Could a BizSugar Book Be Next? 
I remember seeing this when it happened Yoni and you are right it does have incredible lessons. One of the interesting things is that his father knew with his support they could finish the race and that is a reminder that we all need support at times and not to think we have to go it alone.

Thanks for sharing this inspiring video. I remember seeing it live and remember how inspiring it was. I like how you connected the message to universal business principles. Another one I saw demonstrated was Truthfulness. Derek Redmond said his father told him the truth – that he had nothing to prove to anyone – and he finished the race because he wanted to prove something to himself. He looked inside himself and knew he wouldn’t be satisfied with giving up at this critical moment in his career. Being truthful with yourself is perhaps the hardest thing to do, but it is the characteristic that makes a leader worth following.
